The team approach to management can yield better quality services and products, more efficiency, and greater competitiveness.

The program is designed to allow the participants to move on to the next level in their team leadership effectiveness and impact.

The program will look at three levels and types of leadership.

  • First, it will look at intra-personal leadership. Intra-personal leadership is how well, or poorly, the individual leads his or her inner Board of Directors. All human beings have an internal team of sub-personalities that are constantly advising, critiquing, agreeing and disagreeing.
  • The second level of leadership that this program will allow one to explore is inter-personal leadership. Inter-personal leadership is leadership between one team member and one other team member. How does one lead someone else in a team consistent with the larger team purposes, goals, and agreements of the team?
  • The third level of team leadership that will be explored is how you lead a group of individuals and/or a group of groups. How do you lead a team of ten people, or a hundred, or a thousand, or a hundred million people?

Participants will be presented concepts, processes, exercises and techniques that will allow each individual to gain a deeper awareness and understanding of intra-personal, inter-personal, and organizational leadership processes and techniques. The participants will become clearly aware and understand when they are executing effective team leadership, and when they are "misleading" themselves and others. They will learn team leadership technology at all three levels that will allow them to significantly improve their team leadership effectiveness. The participants will learn the latest breakthrough, leading edge techniques, strategies and skills for mastering the teams' processes and outcomes. Opportunities will be provided for exploration of group process technologies as well as communication technologies applied to groups.

Looking Under the Hood

This program encourages teams to take a hard look at themselves. Those willing to create and commit to this intense and in-depth examination will leave the program re-energized, refocused, and ready to improve how their team works. This program:

  • Provides leadership development and team-building training that will build on, and extend, the leadership work already done.
  • Enhances and improves communication and working relationships in the team.
  • Provides a framework for addressing issues between team members.
  • Creates an atmosphere where team members can talk and give each other feedback, honing in on what specifically needs to be done to ensure effective teamwork going forward.
  • Develops a concrete Team Action Challenge Plan for implementation in the workplace.
  • Defines a measurement for the leadership effectiveness and accountability.
  • Enhances the partnership and ownership of all members of the team for overall success.

Benefits to Participants
